OCR: SpellChk Menu Help Your message can be spell checked by pressing <CTRL-K> from the main menu. The spell checker will begin checking for mis-spelled words from the very first line of text right through the end of the message. Quoted text from a previous message will not be checked for spelling. If a word is found that does not exist in the main dictionary or your personal user dictionary, the word will be highlighted in the main body of the message and a list of up to ten suggested word replacements will be displayed in the bottom half of the screen. options are; A submenu will also appear giving you several options. These <C>hange - This option allows you to change the mis-spelled word to either one of the words from the pick list or to the text you entered at this prompt. Entering a number from the pick list will replace the highlighted word with the pick list entry, entering text manually will replace the highlighted word with text you entered at the prompt. <A>dd - This option allows you to add a word to your personal user lictionary if it doesn't exist in the main dictionary. From that point on, the word you added will be included in the spell check searching process. <S>kip - If a word is not contained in the spell check dictionaries, you may select this option to skip over the word and no action will be taken. The spell checker will continue with the next word in your message. If the same word is encountered again, you will be prompted for action again also, even though you opted to skip the word previously. S<k>ipAll - This option works similar to the <S>kip function, only every occurrence of the word will be skipped in the current spell check session. <Q>uit - Exit the spell checker back to the main menu.
